You'll be fine with the insurance - I had this happen to me - dozy bint drove into me while doing her makeup - me into the car in front, that car into the car in front and so on for 6 cars!!
Insurance will do it one of 2 ways, they will all claim from the person that caused it, or they will individually claim of the person behind. If this happens each respective claim gets settled in full until it works its way back to the driver that caused it. Because all the other co's get their payments in full there is no fault or claim against you, they eventually get it all back - if that makes sense.....
