This car started off as a cheap runaround that i fell in love with, its a 6L 1.4 sport in black

the day i got her neglected by previous owner, filthy with faded paint and not many bulbs working, bad tyres

TVR wheels from a friend but were only 15" wchich were way too small, shame as they had some crazy poke with adapters!

now for the marmite part... B*stardise it with Jap wheels....

after mucho messing around for fitment due to the wheels being a strange offset yet still 5x100 pcd, i settled for 25mm rear spacers and 20mm up front just for clearance.
hand made stud conversion by myself which hasnt given me any issues whatsoever, just a headache doing the math with x dimensions and the like.

thanks guys :) yeah the wheels are quite rare now especially in 5x100 guise, the longer you run them the more they grow on you :) facelift bumpers is a possibility but im holding out for a FR 1.8t at some point so we will see, tim if your interested in the wheels drop me a pm :)

it goes into the body shop in the second week of november and he is a paint magician,he recently fully restored my friends mk1 golf (previously awesomes model car) with g60 conversion, the car was rotten when he got it,now it is literally a masterpiece, inside and out not one grain of rust ANYWHERE

sneak peek (i might get shot for this!)

I think to pull off those wheels it could do with being a tad lower and the fronts spaced out a little further.

But, aside from that good work trying something different!

Hi matt, yes I agree but my coilovers won't go any lower :p I don't fancy cutting bumpstops and stuff as the ride is really nice at the mo so think I'm going to get bigger wheels to close the gap slightly.

Tim, you have inbox :)

Since getting the car back from the bodyshop and seeing it so mint I've fallen back in love with her :D

Really nice, I do agree with Tom a little though, perhaps you could tie in the orange with the badges and do this at the front and the rear:
