As I've now reached over 15 posts (woop) I figured I'd post some pictures of my Leon that I pick up from the garage tomorrow (as the title suggests). I'll add some more tomorrow as it'll have been valetted by then too

Yeah, I mentioned it to my dad when I first saw it, figured it was someone who had some sort of idea about them who owned it previously.

I am brimming with excitement, like a kid at christmas is a bit of an understatement haha. I've been doing endurance races on Forza in the cupra r thats on the game, that's how much I want to drive it haha.

The best bit is, people not hearing the clatter of a diesel engine about 4 miles before they see the car

I viewed a black leon on sat, which was a lovely colour but considering it had only done 67k (apparently) it drove like it had done double that, engine management light and epc light were on, and wheel bearing was on its way out, if not already gone, was a shame cause I loved the colour, but I think I love the blue equally

It's quite close to the blue of my dad's 307, so I think he's gonna try and pinch it at some point, he's a mechanic so I wanted him to test drive it first, and I think he enjoyed it a bit too much, then when we were talking to the bloke at the garage he did his usual lie through his teeth thing where he says "bit too much go for me, I'm an old"...lying *******

Nice looking car. Be prepared that the excitement of something new won't leave you, you'll be looking forward to the next mod, then the next, then the next ...... Lol.

I said this in my introductory thread, but I plan to keep it as standard as possible, modding and mapping is a nice idea, but I'd rather just save my pennies for something faster Each to their own and all that right?

Good buy! For a 180hp car it could do with a more aggressive front end - if you find a spare facelift bumper lying around I'd stick that on!

Nothing wrong with pre-facelift, far to many face-lifts driving around

as lordgibbness said keep an eye out for a facelift bumper to make it that bit more aggressive

I don't mind the understated look, at least I won't have too many cops pulling me over for doing nothing instead of having a "fast looking" car. If I'm honest, I prefer the standard Leon wheels, the standard cupra alloys look a bit TOO Delorean for my tastes, and also one of them looks like it'll start peeling where it has been curbed by the previous owner, but I'll cross that bridge when it comes to it

nice and clean, completely stock like mines too (except for the kickass remap)...I do like the colour, my work colleague has the same one and I prefer his colour when I park my silver car next to his.

I actually dont mind the wheels

They look better in person than in photos, perhaps they'd look better if they filled the arches a tad more? I think they'll end up on growing on me, cause I'm a tight git
