i find that its only when they are looking for things that it becomes an issue. where i live theres a cruise every sunday, but since someone got killed (not at the cruise i may add) they have been trying to ban it by driving around telling people to move on. now ppl have moved on a bit more they just drive around on a sunday night looking for things to pull you on.

i had my plates which were smaller font for about 6 months and never got mentioned even though i got pulled a few times and met a few policemen but since theyre looking for things its become an issue. i got told to take them off and got issued a £30 fine

the plates are certainly original. i used to have the german plates on my polo a couple years ago and they looked spot on with all the euro style mods. never got any grief from the old bill.

I once got pulled randomly and the copper radio'd through the reg number "J, I, M...." I had to remind him that i's don't appear on numberplates! lol
