My new wheels .

Scotty_b , must admit I haven't really noticed any difference in the car between these wheels and the old ones . The total cost was £1180 (720 for alloys , 460 for the tyres) which does sound alot , but it is a one off , I won't be changing them again in a hurry (more important things to buy - FMIC , bigger turbo etc) .
I think these wheels in the grey would look the dogs danglies on an ovni leon ....

Yeah i dont think the difference in weight is great but the LCR wheels are too nice to swap. God why didnt they put cr4p ones on then i woul dhave swapped in a heart beat!

On a different subject Scotty , I have just got a set of recaros from a golf mk4 for my leon , am I right in thinking you have to change the airbag plug on the recaros ?

You do mate, either chop the ones on the seat and wire leon ends to them or do what im doing and make a bridge connector so you have VW one end and seat the other

Can you buy the bridge connectors or do you have to make them up ?
Sorry for all the questions but I am a little bit nervous about 'mucking' about with airbag electrics !!

Thats ok, your exactly the same as me! Yoe you need to buy the parts and wire them up. I would say how but i havent checked ot out fully yet!

Just an update , fitted my forge fmic and tip and fitted another front bumper. Decided to stay with the standard cupra one in the end , just prefer it to the cupra r one really (probably the only person that does!!)
