quick minor update

straightened my lip spoiler for now as one of the clips in the centre had dropped down causing the spoiler to look a bit bent in the middle.(tempory fix till i get a new one ).
new rear badges put on today look nice and clean. do not i repeat do not buy the cheap ones off ebay they only last about 6 months before they fade.
new front seat covers are nothing special but will keep my seats clean if i do take the dog out in the car again.
phoned up star performance and they are doing a deal at the moment on maps £250 and £100 to fix my front wheel bearing so i will be phoning back soon to book up.
As for the turbo intake pipe he said i don,t need one for a stage 1 so will leave it for the moment.



thing still to do , new mats on order , new front lip spoiler to get dogbone bush and maybe wheels refurbish . Imay fit the badger 5 turbo intake pipe later but as now i am in no hurry.

Lol both if the dog needs done, yip I believe you lol, I would have had a mental breakdown if a dog jumped in my car, bad enough when they jump up at your car window and scratch the door lol

new matts

fitted new mats they look a lot better than the old rubber ones although the floor a bit dirty because of the snow up here.also fixed my temp sensor this morning , at last the engine light is there no more


bad point my wheel bearing hasn,t arrived so that wont be fixed till next week now which will delay my tune for another week. although maybe thats a good thing with all this snow on the roads lol

she is coming back home

well after spending a year with this i have the opportunity of buying my old cupra r back with some more mods done by my mechanic brother.

will get a pic up as soon as she comes home but here is a list of the things done and fixed.
1/large turbo intake pipe
2/grooved and drilled disks all round
3/yellow stuff pads
4/polybushed wishbones
5/miltek decat downpipe and middle non resenated middle section.(still to do the back box but cant get a hold of one on its own so may have to get a custom one made)
6/new shocks front and back( koni or bilstein i think)
7/roof respray (slight bubbling round the side) alltough the rest of the painwork is mint for its age)
8/large cone filter fitted.

central locking working with the key again.
sensor on the brakes fixed as it was messing with the abs.



looking forward to having here back and doing a few things myself to finish here off.

1/finish the exhaust backbox.
2/weld in a universal c.a.t
3/tune . think it is a stage 2 tune because of the little mods. any help appreciated.
4/wheel refurb. a litter more shine than the original colour
5/ POLYBUSH DOGBONE MOUNT

at last the return

back after a year with my mechanic brother doing his thing now just some finishing touches then after a year who knows prob up for sale.great wee cupra r with only 62000 miles.

thing that makes a wooshing noise and a large bore tip
3inch miltek downpipe and centre pipe.
just need back box ,
black side repeters
sports cat
dogbone mount pollybush
tuned then its done

Update as of 28/06/18 this beutifull low milage cupra r is for sale.

As it stands now it has 8 months m.o.t left on her and only 71800 miles on the clock. i have had her back just over a year and have had the wheels refurbed. as for the exhaust i still have the brand new centre piece miltek pipe it just need a back box fitted and sports cat.
there are a couple of small bubbles on the rear arches and small bit on the roof and as the pics show it is minor just paint no rust.I am still using this car at the moment but when i get the right price i will sell it straight away .BEST COLOUR AND STILL DRIVES LOVLEY DUE TO ALL THE WORK THAT HAS BEEN PUT INTO IT OVER THE PAST YEAR.
Use it as a daily driver or bring it back to mint condition as its nearly there . £3500 no offers as this is worth every penny it can only go up now as there are very little with this milage or in this condition still on the road.
