hi can anyone help i havent long bought my seat leon fr tdi 150bhp and i was doing about 55-60 mph in 6th gear and i put my foot down and the car started to shake really bad so i dropped it down a gear and it was still the same so i slowed down and dropped it to 4th gear and it was fine so i built my speed back up and changed back to 5th the car started to shake again, ive had the drive shaft change and the wheels balanced in the garage i bought it from and the problem is still there. does anyone no what the problem could be?????? thanks

It's funny because I have exactly the same car and only realised this in 6th gear when I was in France a couple of weeks ago, changed up to 6th from 5th foot down to WOT and the car felt like it was going to shake itself to bits!!!

I'm pretty sure this is a dual mass flywheel/clutch issue, I know that my clutch needs replacing as it has started to slip but this issue to me is the flywheel, I'm sure someone on here with more knowledge than me can confirm this.

Hi thanks for the reply, ive not long had the car back from where i bought it and they changed the drive shafts and it was still the same, so they done some more research on it and looked into the car properly and they found that who had the car before me had turned the turbo up so they turned it back down to what it was originally and the car is fine now. i hope you sort your problem.
