Right, well as many did I have a cd drive failure on my Seat radio, so i had it replaced a couple of weeks ago.

Well the aux option stopped working, and whilst I visisted the dealership again for the noisy wing mirror problem. They took a look at the radio and now when pushing the aux it sys no cdc which i think must mean no cd changer.

Anyway the guy at the service desk reckoned that it wont work unless a cable is plugged into the aux, i disputed this and of course i was right. They also said they think maybe the radio settings were the wrong way round, meaning that they have said cdc to no and aux to yes.

My question is can you change the radio settings using vag-com as my mate has it, or is it another trip to the dealers? They do have to change the drivers side headlight again so maybe they can do it then.

Perphaps they haven't connected one of the connectors in the Quad lock properly the blue one I believe is for aux / CD changer. If you look at the HU removal guide you can look into verifying this.
