just a bit of fun this but seems to work well so far!

spent a bit of time making a sub 10quid catch tank, few pics

Started with a 1pound 500mm plastic beaker from Wilko, added and alumium bracket to the lid to mount the thing, drilled and bonded in 3 19mm 90degree hose joiners

painted satin black! and rolled some alumium mesh to provide added oil seperation and clamped onto the inlets

mounted in the car and plumbed in

might move the outlet filter to lower down somewhere, or plumb it back into inlet, not sure, any ideas on this?

the seal on the top of the bulkhead should seal off the bay and the pollen filter is fed from the high pressure area at the scuttle, but i think i will extened the filter downwards somewhere, or plumb back into the inlet, not sure of this though as i dont want to undo the fact that my part throttle hesitation has dissapeared

local autofactors, but avaiable on ebay ect, just made them a tight fit and then glued them in with PU adhesive, we use it at work for bonding aluimium windows together, same thing as silkaflex, car windscreen adhesive ect.

yeh oil vapour is nasty and as you found out the seal along the bonnet doesnt really do anything, i found out about it the hard way but luckilly it isnt hard to fix i would however vent it to under the car not the inlet as there will still be a tiny amount of oil going back through the system :D

back into the inlet is fine for me, its catching the bulk of the cack, plus it means crank case under vacuum when on boost which is better for ring sealing.

looks good. have you got a pic of it going back into the inlet? I need to do something with mine as the pcv pipe that comes off the inlet is split

no need as its plumbed into the TIP, pre turbo, not back into the inlet manifold, it wont see boost pressure

here a picture of it plumbed back into the tip. shame i didn't design the outlet facing the other way as a combination of that and the cheap hosing that seems to colapse in flat if you bend it too much means its quite a long route back to the tip, will rework this at some point with better hosing.
