It was a right pain splitting the headlights I just ended up cutting them open and sealing them with tiger seal . I trimmed the top as u said but I put some heat on the bottom and bent the trim so they'll adjust . it was easy once they was split . well worth the effort took me most the day lol . really pleased with the result tho . no more crap Toledo halogen headlights lol

Good work mate they look good where about did u cut them? Yea that's sounds like a good idea heating the bottom part u can't see it then.

They look really good for the price, how are the projectors connected to the bulb holder out of interest? Are they screwed in with an adapter plate?

They just go through where the bulb goes and a but sucures it in place

No m8 it was just above the projectors u don't need too cut a complete section out just a bit . another pic

For the price u really can't do better and the hid kit I got off eBay is bang on works really well and comes with a 2 year warranty on the ballasts an 1 year on the bulbs

They're really good. High beam work fine aswell, quick switching and no sticking?

I've not wired them up as bi-xenon as wasn't sure how to do it so that the shutter opens when on high beam and the halogen come on as flashers like they should so just left it as just for dipped beam

Not a problem, you should be able to run the wires from your main bulb to the solenoid switch, positive and negative. So when you switch to mains the power activates the solenoid and opens the shutter, when powers off the shutter returns.

Yeah but I just want the halogen to come on when I pull the stalk back to flash the main beam like new cars do

Its the best mod I've done tbh . got my sub and amp wired up now too along with a better head unit

Now changed the sony sub and amp for a vibe slr evo twin 12 in subs with a built in 800w rms amp and fitted heko wind deflectors
