OK so I know that the centre 'S' bit of the top grill doesn't fit the LCR bumper, but does the big one-piece part that has the upper honeycomb side grills fit?
No it's separate I think, just checked on ETKA, just wondered if it was the same shape etc. and fitted straight into the LCR bumper. I found a pic of a yellow LCR with the honeycomb grills (obviously the centre grill doesn't fit!) which looks like it does:

oh rite i read somewhere on here it was 1 piece with the bumper, but etka is more right,
yes will deffo fit in the gap but may need to be attatched seperatly as the mounting points on the bumpers will be different and may make the grill sit proud of the lcr bumper, if u get me.
Rob - I got a honeycombe grille piece from "Copra" on here when SEAT supplied him with the wrong one...
I believe he tried to fit it but it didnt fit behind his LCR bumper. I could be wrong here though. He sold it to me (I think they retail at about £40) and got a "slatted" one instead.

as above mate - i THINK they are about £40-50. One piece, giving honeycombe either side of the central part, which is seperate.
I'll try and dig on ETKA now for u, and get a price.

According to ETKA price update290 (latest i think) they are about £32 inc VAT... but i'd not guarantee that figure.....
Rob, I'm thinking of doing the same, I've read into it with a few Seat dealers help and a bodyshops help i found out that..
The honey comb upper grill is normally one part of the MY03 bumper but can be brought seperately. If you buy it seperately you have to un-plastic weld the orginal and chop the honey comb version up in places for it to fit and then plastic weld it back on. But problems occur, the bumper its self becomes brittle at the weldpoints and warps the bumper when re plastic welding them which will be visible from the front of the bumper.
So after abit of reading i found that some had changed there upper grills to honeycomb, by removing the bumper and cutting with a dremmel the orginal grilles out and then using plastic welding and fibreglass fixing a set of honey comb versions in place, this way the bumper welding on the back is left alone and the honeycomb grills are basically glued on. I'm due to do mine in the next few weeks after i get my car back from the bodyshop.
The next challenge is to fabricate a badgeless honeycomb grill for the R bumper, i have all the parts, just need to start cutting it up into shape.
