N/A Cams

Any one know the best N/A 20v cams are to go in our 1.8ts?

Ive read a bit on hear and Jamesjudd was gunna use AGN cams both inlet and exhaust.

But also read ADR cams are the same size as BAM ones (guessing this is the largeport head)

Anyone actually run any etc or have more info

AGN cams have the highest lift i found out.

And NRM90 has james engine so be interesting to if he plans to run both cams.

Be nice for someone to just clear this up.

I've heard of just using the inlet cam.. I'm sure it was on VWvortex.

ADR I believe is both large and small port.. It changed at somepoint for unknown reasons. Earlier ones are large, later ones are small.

I can comfirm that early ADR also is largeport as I got a hold of one for a rebuild sometime in the future

I have a forged AYP with ko4, relentless mani 3" down pipe, 3"tip WMI etc I've recently purchased a pair of ADR cams and will be doing a back to back comparison at work, the car will be run on the dyno twice with AYP cams then changing them on the dyno and running another 2 times I won't post peak figures to save all the dyno crapmthat goes on just gains or losses and a PDF of the graph hopefully do it early next week

AGN have biggest lift by the looks of things probs have to buy a hole engine to buy some tho lol

Edit: May ADR inlet and AGN exhaust cams would be a good combo?!

AGN Cams is what mine has, theres **** all bottom end. but then im running silly boost sooooo yeah. it could be down to mapping aswell.

You running both cams? 83mm pistons?

Yeah mines over bore 1850cc Wossner pistons and ina rods as far as I'm aware
