N249 bpass and Over BOosting

very strange one this....

well if Ian had exactly the same issue as me after doing n249 bypass and having a map....then lets hope this might fix the issue?

yup hopefully turn up in the next few days, might pop home in a sec see if i got it yet...

its not been overboosting that often the last 2 days....just happens occasionally when you put ur foot down but not that often! weird one!

If you still get the overboost i'd wind the actuator out a little to prevent the spike.

prob get the garage to do that probably....i think it maybe needs resetting up slightly anyway..

N75 turned up, will replace over on Saturday and test....see how i get on!

Yes, looking forward to see how you get on with the 'H' or race or whatever your getting.

I get limp mode everyday near enough. I am on a new N75F. Had numerous new MAF's, and my actuator is only at 8 threads instead of the usual 12 or 13, still get limped!

i might have to go back to original with the race valve and see if that makes any difference?

right well the racing valve is on!

and i got GIMP mode again!!!!! about 1mile down the road, came off boost and in it went for ages again!!!!!

Im gonna re put the N249 i think!

right then!

back to standard and it runs much nicer!!! boosts higher with the racing valve as well and so far no Gimp mode.....all cosher.....

So my recommendation peachy is probably to try that F valve and put it back to standard.......

i will further test over the week and see how we get on! Have to see if it surges again or whether the racing valve has sorted that?

i never sorted mine and put back to standard....and will prob try an F valve now..
