possibly.. sounds very different to unbypassed.

also dosnt do it all the time, intermittant chatter.

ive a spare port under the inlet manny since pcv removal on catch tank install, so youve run vac line from manny strait to dv then fpr to port under manny it uses for oem? im wondering if the pipe and tee are causing the dv to open sometimes and not others?

Yep straight to DV from manifold

The flutter without the vaccum pipe on DV is wastegate chatter because the DV has no vaccum to open it.

yeah.... its got to be something to do with the bypass, as unbypassed the dv sounds normal..tssssh, with bypass it kindof goes caatchhh, stalling sound... crap description but all i got!!

apr r1 diaphragm valve bill, 4mm iirc pipe, 4mm t piece from fpr

i may use the spare vac source from inlet manny and run to dv.

too long??? surely it can only be one length?

My pipe is 4mm and T is 6mm

I don't really know as mine doesn't do it, it does make a noise through the filter but its the DV echo and not chatter.

you dont use the t now though yeah?

any ideas on the diameter of the vac nipple under inlet manny that is used for pcv vac connection?

Yeah your rite sorry it has no T but when it did it was 6mm and there was no difference.

Is that one of the 2 middle ones? I think there about 8-10mm?

The bigger ones in the middle? there are 2 larger ones beside each other and 2 smaller ones near the FPR?

They are pretty big so possibly not use one of them without a reducer.

it is likely to be because you are sharing the vacuum source James. Use your spare vac source on the inlet mani for a hose straight to the DV. Use the shortest route possible.

sharing the source with what danny... the fpr? via the t piece...

ill try some 5mm pipe from under manny to dv, then fpr back to where it was.

no idea the size of the vac port like.
