n249 mod problems

hi i have finished the 249 bypass as suggested on mkiv website and it made my car
feel sluggish and down on power.i know alot of guys have done this to good effect should
it feel better straight away or will the car need to learn?

I'd have a double check on here as to the way its done.Theres loads of info on it.Had no problems with mine.

mines stuttered after lifting off throttle. and i lost the sound my dv made. so iv changed it back.

In answer to your question you should feel the difference straight away the ECU does not need to learn.

i want to change mine back but i accidently snapped the t peice off and cant get the stupid clips off to see what size it is, does anyone know what size it is?

dump valve response is loads better.. you sure your not running limp mode ??

In my case by-passing did'nt improve performance, in fact I reckon it hindered it slightly. I'd rather have the safety feature.
