Just wondered if there is a setting to get a perspective view rather than overhead. I prefer the view that looks like you are following the car. Can't seem to find a setting for that.
In the manual it says you can change the view by putting your index and middle finger on the map next to each other and moving them up to tilt the map forward. I couldn't get it to work. Another area where the infotainment isn't as good!
Thanks for that, I was trying to work out that gesture from the book but whatever I did didnt have the desired affect. Will try that when I get back in the car.

Did read another VW post where people were stuck with the map set elsewhere. I think the two taps is equivalent to pressing the zoom button with the outline button on mib2, does the auto zoom back to where the car is positioned. You might need to enable 3D before hand. All of that video had 3D when zoomed out, 2D in. The traditional auto zoom button appears also down on the right in that video from time to time. That's probably the one to tap to get it back to where you are if you you have moved the map off the cars location (mib2 trick)... or may be two taps. The workings will be the same on a Seat Mib3, presentation of the buttons might be slightly different.
