Right, now that i am in employment again i have the ideal opportunity to go Stage 2 with my Toledo 20vt.....ie CASH !
I have fitted a jetex cone with heat shield, toyosports 2.5 downpipe with sports cat and Milltek non res catback and an SFS oversized TIP. The only sticking point is the fmic. There is a very well respected 1.8t tuner who will supply and fit a custom install for not much change from £750, or the other option is to have a go at fitting one of them ebay kits. I like to think that i have fitted quality parts so far but i am not comfortable with spending that amount on an intercooler.
There again,if i decide to have a go myself with a cheapo kit...with 2 inch pipework according to the listings...i can see myself giving up as soon as i encounter the first rusted-in screw whilst trying to get the bumper off.
Can anyone recommend an ebay kit they have fitted with success to their Auq engined Leon please ?

Just go for the toyo if money's tight . Will see you good for more then enough power you will see.

If the wallet allows then go for a welly . Only reason I got the toyo was because I got it for £10 .

That's the one . There's not much play in fitting wise , and the clips are crap , so replace them . I'm running stage 2 and kept blowing the pipes open .
Apart from that they are a good cheap intercooler
