I was just reading a thread on the electric seats lots of people said it would be great if they were key operated well they are:funk: I have an x reg lc and when i open the car the seats and mirrors go to my setting and when my wife opens it with her keys the seat and mirrors go to her setting, very nice all you do is set the seat and mirrors to your liking (ignition on only no engine) press the memory button wait for beep and then within 10 seconds press the UNLOCK button on the key wait for a beep then done there dead easy, having two keys is an advantage but still useful if your other half uses your car messes with the seat when you next go to drive it the seat and mirrors will return to your settings, i hope this is useful to someone if by any chance this was discussed to the death only last week i apologize lol:whistle:

LCR doesn't have electric memory seats though, so you might be in for a disappointment there Ninja.

I'll have to try that. May be a silly question...but do you press the unlock button within ten seconds with the key still in the ignition or you remove it?

all the instructions are in the hand book, come to think about it i might have got that bit wrong dont switch ignition on at all, i dont think the memory button works with it on.

the funny thing is, that , when you still have the key in the ignition,
you put the gear in reverse, then change the passenger mirror on to the pavement curb, then press memory button.
then when you're parking ,every time you change to reverse, the mirror automaticly turns the curb, when your mirror swith is turned on the passenger mirror
