need help deciding next mods.. with poll

right, guys i have a conunderum. ive a few mods planned and cant make up my mind what do do. 1 big item or do a few of little items.

heres a list of whats planned

1..forge fmic twin pass leon cupra £550-600quid ish.

if i did that that would be it.

2.... scorpion cat back exhaust £290 i have milltek dp and cat already

if i did this i could stretch to a couple more mods

was thinking 1. phenolic gasket/power gasket
2. jetex induction kit

now, if i created vents to smic, fitted phenolic gasket hopefully this would aid cooling a little.



thats about it fellas, really cant make mind up on this one.

If you cannot stretch to the Forge one why not fit a universal one
then you would free up more beans for the CAT back

Rob don has shown that the universal ones are ok up to 300bhpish so those not looking to go anywhere over that should be fine. also you can get the universal forge one for £300odd, if you decide to go bigger bhp you can use your existing pipe work.

James i would look at the universal and do the exhaust as well.

It's a spacer gasket that insulates the block from the metal intake manifold to help with heat soak

well, poll seems quite conclusive here, option 2 seems the winner

may go this then go uni cooler setup with some more research i think at a leter date, as said maybe for the summer.

next options now i got thinking are.

just go rear box on the scorpion... 90 quid difference, any real gains to be lost by keeping oem centre section with milltek dp and cat then scorpion box. the box will be for sound and looks really.

will the phenolic gasket be worthwhile on smic setup?

yeah i remember that lee, not sure on any benefits on that one though, same diameter as oem? did you notice anything?
