i was fitting some new sidelights, a error message came up on the dash so i went to swap them back and the bulb popped out of the holder and fell inside the headlight, really dont want it bouncing around in there and also hope its not a big job!

please advise.

If you mean the front clear plastic lense - you can't officially.

There are two options
1. bluetack on a stick through the bulb change cover to pick up the bulb
2. remove the headlight and tip it out.

use a vacumn cleaner, improvise by taping a piece of small plastic/rubber tube to end of nozzle

yes i mean the front plastic lense, it stressing me out theres not much room to put anything in there to get it out,i may remove the headlight and stick something like a stick and blue tac to possibly get it out may try the vacuum idea too, problem would be the vacuum cleaner would be too hard to manoeuvre into the whole.

Picture attached :(

Take out the low beam headlight bulb.

Piece of bent wire coathanger with bluetack on the end.

Reach in through the low beam bulb hole.

OR

Take out the headlight
remove low beam bulb
tip light so sidelight bulb drops out of low beam bulb hole

Certainly dont want to go through the hassle of removing the headlight. Reading you have to remove the bumper and other things i just dont feel comfortable with stuff like that, im going to try the wire coat hanger or vacuum idea when my GF is here, im at hers at the moment so not got my own tools etc so need her to find the stuff out lol.

Thanks for the suggestions mate.

it happened to me a year ago
before my retrofit
