need help? non res or res cobra cat back?

havent heard any vids? and would like to know if there is much difference in sound and loudness?? anyone if u got a resonated let me know please as im in a 50:50 situation

I received my cat back resonated cobra exhaust on Friday.. Getting it fitted on the 23rd.

The 6x4 oval looks huge..lol.

Although I know it looks alright though once fitted.

Can't wait..
 
Ive got the resonated version, the oval tailpipe fits bang on in the bumper if its a non LCR, dont know about LCR. :)

I see what you mean about the amount of packaging that comes with the exhaust, thankfully I was at work and binned all the boxes etc there and just bubble wrapped the exhaust into the back seat and took that home.

Are you getting anywhere with the issue on you LC yet, sounds like a bit of a nightmare?

Which one? :rofl:

Basically my car was already stage one/210bhp, so me being me thought ill stick a better panel filter in it, better exhaust inc decat, yellow spring and take it to revo to adjust fuelling/lambda etc for decat, but basically ended up needing a new turbo and a load of weird fault codes, so since then gone a bit mad on it, bought vagcom, cleared codes off, none come back, removed n249, fitted TIP hose, new turbo and shes back in on 2nd May for custom 1.5 remap :D
 
I havent got the new turbo on it yet, thats this Saturdays job :rofl: ive prepped it and removed the hoses and wires that where all hanging off it from where it was butchered off the salvage car :rofl:

Just need to pick up some copper washers or whatever im supposed to use for the banjo fittings, TIP hose just arrived 10 min ago :D
 
yeah you were getting alot of requests a couple of weeks ago about the vids and pics of your exhaust ...LMAO

Glad to hear your getting things sorted, once i get my exhaust fitted I need to replace my rearbushes and the front / front wishbone ones, as I only replaced the rear wishbone bushes the last time. All ready for the new suspension the following month hopefully.

Its never ending sometimes...lol

I've noticed (from the limited supply on you tube) that the full exhaust has a slight 'tinny' sound. This may be down to owners posting up their new toys before its had time to 'soot' up.....or they are just tinny in general?
