ello people! just a couple of things i need to know...

1. i have a Supersprint backbox. when the car's warmed up it pops quite a bit while i'm driving.

2. i was driving to work yesterday and the car was only runnning at 2-4 psi  then on the way home in the evening it was fine and back to normal!

anyone care to help with these 2 things please??

thanks alot :)

Money on its the maf dead, running rich causing it too pop. Vagcoms the answer :)

guys, whilst this has been posted, my cupra is running standard boost but has a forge DV and green enclosed, it boosts fine, but after about 10 minutes of hard driving the boost really messes about and is really erratic, no boost then full boost then back to no boost whilst accelerating in gear.

is this down to heat soak on the standard intercooler, or putting the air filter and dv on when its not mapped for it?

forgot to mention, i changed the MAF in January.

Makes no difference, ask Martyn about how long MAFs can last. It ranges from hours to years. Fellas, you should really think about investing in vagcom if your pushing your cars over standard. Its an invaluable tool.

If it was a coilpack you would know, engine constantly misfires, same in that it runs very low boost but your engine management light flashes also. Its happened to me 3 times in as many months and on all of these occasions it hasnt rectified itself.
My exhaust pops all the time, i kind of like it! its happened a lot more since putting the standard airbox back in, makes up for the dv having no noise anymore lol
