The SEAT Arona is a cornerstone of the brand’s success. Fuelled by strong sales, it carves out a bold presence of the brand in the urban SUV segment. Now, the SEAT Arona steps confidently into its next chapter as a more robust urban SUV with a dynamic character, driven by three key strengths: a refreshed exterior, enhanced interior, and even greater value across its three trim levels – Arona, Style and FR.

Since its launch in 2017, the SEAT Arona has sold over 750,000 units and earned a central place in the brand’s line-up. It has become a favourite for drivers who want an urban SUV that’s full of energy, personality, and ready for every challenge.

“The SEAT Arona is a fundamental part of the brand’s line-up and a huge part of its success, helping expand SEAT’s reach in the crucial urban SUV market. With its perfect combination of compact dimensions and SUV credentials, the improved exterior character, enhanced interior...

It looks more modern with the changes, but it would have been much more attractive for its customer base if they had gone all the way and given it a completely new interior, and some tech from upper segment siblings, like electric parking brake, because the classic handbrake has become the sign of the old times for a lot of customers. Anyway, I hope this refresh would bring some more sales that they obviously needed.

I thought the seats looked comfortable on a video I saw. Bucket seats. The launch Arona seats on the Xcellence model or name similar are diabolical. Ok for 60 minutes then the pain cuts in. Opted to buy back and cushions to moderate. They really shouldn't sell cars with dreadful seating. Seems fixed now after six or so years 🫣.

I found the standard seat in my 2018 Arona too hard and uncomfortable over a longer drive. The Microsuede sports seats we have in the Xcellence and my Xcellence Lux are really comfortable, I have no issues doing long drives on the motorway and getting out comfortable. The new Ibiza and Arona FR seat look like the ones from FR special additions and found in various Cupra models and they really are comfortable as we have them in our Born.

This was a 2019 Xcellence Lux which gives us trouble over an hours drive. The Ateca 2017 Xcellence is luxury but the seats in that were not as good as my old Altea Sport. Lack of lumber adjustment in the Arona is the issue and the seat height for me. Obviously those that love their low level seating would not have an issue. Quite a few of those around  .

Yesterday I got my old Leon MK3 Sales brochure out and there were two pages full of color choices.

Alor Blue, Apollo Blue, Emocion Red, Montsant Red, Lima Green to name a few.

I used to associate Seat with being as more adventurous brand within VAG as far as paint colour choices were concerned. Sadly it no longer appears to be the case ☹️.

If you want a few bright and some vibrant colour choices, then Renault don’t seem to be afraid of being bold with colour on their smaller cars; Pop Yellow and Pop Green on the R5, Absolute Green and Absolute Red on the new Clio (not available in the UK until next year), and Valencia Orange on the current Clio.

The Uno use to have bright Mediterranean colours in Mediterranean countries. We'd be restricted to the boring colours. I know in a holiday when I had an Uno I coverted those bright colours abroad. The Ateca got that burnt orange 🍊 at launch that some where brave enough to buy. It looked fine driving around on a sunny day, not sure about on a dull day in London. That 🍊 has been used on other Vag brands. Then there is an MOD grey which you see on some Vags plus NHS nursing dark blue. Just the colour if you are a community nurse. Dieing breed though.

Perhaps the Seat / Cupra tribe is now grey. You got to be careful with tribe marketing.

I was thinking the same; I always viewed SEAT as being the "fun" part of the group.

I personally loved Samoa Orange, but I'd concede it was probably a brave choice for some.
But why no red, or blue (yes I know there's Fjord Blue, but even that's like the sea at Bognor Regis on a dull day)
