I know it doesn’t look much different than the current model but I really like the look of the Ibiza as a small car.
And it’s an actual colour too!!

Thanks for the video. It has made it more modern looking and the same as what was revealed in the Feb 2024 video.

Overall, a bit disappointed not to see larger and high resolution 12" screen from Cupra and assume it is the same as the current one with MIB3?

Interior looks identical less, seat trim as I had hoped for slight refresh. If lack of updates is reflected in price then not too bad. I will look towards the Raval as too similar and glad my daughter went for pre-fl Xcellence DSG now with that trim having been removed. At least refresh won't impact residuals much being so light.

I would of liked to have seen the 1.5 being added to UK FR trim too. New hybrid engines next year will be interesting though.

Yeah the Arona gets the 150PS engine not the Ibiza which is a shame.

My immediate reaction was how much the front profile reminds me of the pre-facelift version of the current Vauxhall Corsa; same shape headlamps and the grilles are also very similar. In the metal and side by side, they probably look quite different though.

Sorry, but I think I prefer the current pre-facelift Ibiza to the facelift version……………., but then we all like different things.

You can have a play on the Spanish configurator to get an idea of colours wheels and overall specs although UK is likely to be different. One interesting point was that DSG is only currently available with the 1.5 in Spain. You can also have a play with the new Arona too.

Fun fact, I was about to make a very similar comment, although I would choose the Ibiza facelift or pre-facelift over the Corsa any day of week

Such a shame we most likely won't see a Cupra version of the Ibiza again.

One upgrade that piqued my interest is the 15w cooled wireless charger. I'd definitely look into that and if technically and physically possible I'd like to retrofit the new charger unit to replace the pathetic one in my Ateca. Shame on Cupra that they didn't bother to put a proper charger in it.
