Page 20 also suggests that the tiredness recognition system can be retro-fitted to a Cupra - wonder how that works is there and hardware required or is it in VCDS ?????

the tiredness recognition is a SWAP (SoftWare As a Product) function - the money's for a code from SEAT which will activate it, AFAIK the hardware is all there, it just needs programming in. No idea if you can do it via VCDS.

Illuminated sill covers look nice but are really pricey.

Thanks for the info ;o) - I also like the sill covers but the illuminated ones say that no electrical connections are required - how on earth can this be so they must surely tap into the courtest light ?

I think that is the LED pack which is roof lights, sun visor lights, map lights etc but not boot and glove box light.

As far as I can see they've got an internal battery supply. It doesn't take a lot of electricity to power some LED's for 30 seconds.

Hmm, it doesn't say Cupra only - it just says available for Cupra. On the internal accessory system it's listed as available for all of the Mk3 Leons, as well as the Cupra. Not sure why it says that in the pdf...
