Ok so im about to order a new bee sting aerial but i thought i better check i can get the old standard one off first!
So i went down took the old one off with the yank and wiggle manouver .. and it came off fine, but then when i went to screw it back on it will go on but it wont screw up tight?
Any ideas?

Thanks Tom.

similar thing happened to mine when i took it off. wouldnt go back in.

However my beesting aerial went in with some encouragement in the end.

You usually get two lengths of a threaded self tapping shaft to stick in the existing hole once you have removed the old aerial. The new aerial should then screw onto the shaft.

Don't mean to hijack the thread but is buying one off of ebay worth it? they seem universal and i don't think it would look right. Anyone know any other sites that sell them? as i still need one lol.

Once you turned it abit you have to give it a good yank. However saying that iv tried and just cant get it off

There have been loads of threads on this over the years. Give the thing a really hard pull and it should come off okay.

Best shortened bee sting I've ever used was one off a Vauxhall VX22O. Looks like a standard one only about half the length and works perfectly.
