Haha that's what I was thinking, average is like 12k i wouldn't go near a car at 34k

Why ? Just means done lot of motorway miles but still low miles , I will only keep couple years and sell before gets to 50 or 6o thousands and like I said got car cheap enough, cheapest 15 plate with tech pack etc I could find

Payed 12k or £12061 for 15 plate with tech pack and 34000 what was cheapest one I could find ,you not think that's ok ? And if engine is reliable shouldn't be a problem with the milage

Eh that's okay, I've seen 65/16s for 16k tech pack and less than 10k mileage, 34000 is a lot in a year for any engine, 2800 a month is some serious commuting, might be alright for resale if you bring that average down but if I saw a car 3 years old with an average over 15k I'd steer clear personally, not sure what others think just my opinion

I only do 6000 or 7000 a year so will even out but hopefully decent engine and will be fine

No offence intended, your low miles will even it out a bit and those engines are meant for high miles. As long as you're happy with it, that's what matters.

Thanks mate It will be sold when gets to 6o thousand or before, only play on keeping 2 years then upgrading again so the high 1st year miles shouldn't mean it's going to be a wreck that's y I got it cheaper at end of day, loads of 14 plates for 14-15k and I only payed 12 but happy with it anyway

Who is best to contact to check past service history and see if any outstanding recalls etc ? Anyone know what seat garage to ring or should any be able to tell me ?

Also never checked but can you play dvds on the main display at standstill obviously ?
Thanks dean

Dealer you bought the car from should be supplying the service book backing up service history.

Outstanding recalls call 0500 222222 and press 4 to speak to customer care. Ask them, there won't be any though I imagine.

Ah of course my bad, like others have said the dealer selling the car should be able to tell you everything about it, although with EH you never know

Only if you have the navigation system high, I think, just try a DVD and see if it works, will do no harm.

One other thing your car could be up to 18 months old on a 15 plate so monthly mileage may not be so high as stated by others.

33000 with no oil change. Any damage is done, saving £2k now is a very false economy. Warranty won't even look at it. Sounds like the other make dealer are lucky to ship it on to you.

It was registered may or April I think so is 18 months or so and it may have had oil change and just might not have stamped the book but running fine now so hopefully be fine for millege I do , as said if rental company more than likely been done in house and not stamped,

I am a hgv fitter and engines goes hundreds of thousands miles a year without a oil change haha
