Just like to give a review of my experience of purchasing a new car with Liverpool Seat.
I went in way back in July last year to ask about the new Cupra range and spoke to Nick Creswell he informed me that they had no info as yet but would contact me as soon as they did. Sure enough a few months later the brand new brochure came through the post. I was invited in October to take their freshly delivered demo FR out for a drive and to look over the show room Bocanegra.

Nick was great and didn’t use all the usual sale’s bull you get from some people, instead he was clear and matter of fact and talked me through everything I needed to know. I was a refreshing change. I put my order down on the 10th Of October and received my car yesterday. This is actually a quicker turn around than I was quoted which was a nice surprise. I was regularly called with updates on the progress of my order and was very impressed with the service.

This week I have been sorting out the finance with Chris again he was great and talked me through all the various packages and options for different deposit amounts. He knew his stuff and was very fast at calculating different monthly payments and answering my questions.

I picked up the car yesterday it was fresh from being valeted and they even helped me put in the new LED day light running lights. I had been talking to Niall a fair bit about the new car so he came with me to fill up with some Vpower (top bloke). On my return I was greeted with a lovely bunch of flowers (Mum was happy).

So all in all it was great experience, I was never left wondering or with un-answered questions and would not hesitate to recommend Liverpool Seat and hope to use them again.

I’d just like say thanks to everyone whose ear I bent off talking about cars especially Nick, Barry, Niall (sorry if that’s spelt wrong) and the two blokes in the parts department who have also been great (sorry I’ve forgotten your names :redface:).

Well they have done a lot for me so its the least I could do really.

I'm going in on Monday and they are sorting my satnav cradle (for the built in doc) for free, which was a welcome extra!

My first uncomfortable test drive with Nick at Liverpool Seat lasted as long as it took to drive round the block and had to arrange a 2nd one with him. When i turned up the 2nd time he left me for 40 minutes waiting whilst he closed a sale only for Niall(top bloke as you say) to take the initative and take me out for a good 40 mins. He was very pleasant and engaged me in valuable conversation on the car. On returning I was passed back to Nick whose sales technique when enquiring on any movement on price was to basically stand up and walk away from me angrily. I went to IMG in the end and got decent service other than the long wait time which i now know to be normal.

Hit n miss i guess.

Haha yeah he was the same with us when we got our Seat Ibiza there in December, did he go on to tell you that the car was only ever owned by a leading top manager of Seat?
He did with us then we get the V5 log book and to our surprise it was owned by a leasing company in Bristol, now we wish we wewnt to Arnold Clark with all the problems this car is causing the paint work is not right, it's still under warranty so lets see if they fix it, they should do.
