New car received today

Hey guys..

Got my new car today ... the new Plugin-Hybrid ...

One question though - the tactile buttons for adjusting volume as well as the A/C are near impossible to see when driving at night ... Is there away to make them light up ? or do they not have any build in lighting? Or is my car just broken ?

Hi - congratulations on the car! where are the pics?

I'm afraid I don't think they light up. It's the one thing I think SEAT have messed up is the insistence of removal of proper buttons for the new Leon and Formentor and presumably future cars unless we stage a revolt!

Enjoy the car though - might have to try your best with the voice controls in the dark.

Will make sure to take some proper pictures tomorrow .. when I picked up the car it well over 17, so it was dark and not really proper picture time ...

Anyway - will say I’m more than pleased with the car but not being to actually see the buttons at night is surely going to piss me off .. I’ll manage though ...

speaking of light - has anyone figured out how to actually change the colour of the light on the ambient lighting ?

I'm not sure you can change the colour on all models, this was an FR in the video and didn't see the colour options

If you have selected the wraparound ambient light option when you bought it, you will be able for sure. In my country this is a special stand alone option for around 300 EUR

Well I have the white light currently on .. but trying to reset the infotainment it changes to red .. then after turning off the car it changed back to white ...

Overall it seems like my infotainment system resets every time I turn off the car ... don’t know if it has anything to do with the fact that I haven’t logged in yet and I’m currently just using a “guest” account ...

Oh .. mine is a FR version .. however we do different trims in Denmark compared to other countries ...

So our trims are Reference, Style, Excellence and FR

excellende and FR are identical except FR favours some visual alterations over tech, so Excellence has keyless entry where FR only has keyless ...

Same in here as in Denmark, think is the guest also. because if you have the physical stripe than is just about changing colours
