New Cupra

Picking up my new Cupra on Friday at 3.pm - its speed blue with the panoramic sun roof. saw it at the dealers Tuesday - they reckon it looks so good in that colour they've ordered one for the showroom!!!!

Speed blue is the best colour in my opinion lol. Saw a leon cupra R at my local dealer and i feel in love with the colour immediately.

So as i need to do 12 more posts before i can post pictures i'll tell the story of my SEAT's!!.

First one in 2003 was a grey Leon Cupra - really nice motor - got me hooked on the brand, lovely to drive. I did a high mileage in those days so in Sept 2006 traded in for ...... to be continued

The speed blue is an amazing colour; I remember seeing one of the early Bocanegra concepts in speed blue, looked outstanding! Unfortunately I've never been able to find that picture again

I think its mainly to make sure they dont get spam. I dont think its a big problem if a legit (new)member with not enough posts would post a link to a picture that way.

Picked it up Friday - see avatar for the moment!!. Its fabulous, did over 200 miles at weekend visiting friends, its so easy to drive. Still getting used to the dsg, and won't really push it (ie sporty setting!) 'til done first 1,000k. Gear changes are very smooth, up and down, most complicated thing to work out, as usual, is the radio!!!!

Next post back to the SEAT saga.......

Good, enjoy.
Run it in nice and easy for the first 1,000 mile leave it in D.
Make sure you check your oil every 100 mile or so for the first 4,000 mile at least, you will soon see how, it uses it,
Buy some oil from your dealers to top the car up.
After 5,000 mile it should be ok .
