New ECU, Starts then dies after like 1 second!

I had a problem with my old ECU to my seat Toledo 96 so i bought a new one!
When i put it in, the car starts and goes perfect for like 1 second, then it dies right away !
Is this some kind of security function in the box ?
I need a new key for the new box ?
It starts fine with my old box :\

Could be the immoboliser, more than likely will be

I'm not sure if you can code your old key to the new ECU, someone with a better idea should be able to explain it

There is no way to "bypass" the immoboliser ?

I wouldn't have thought so, maybe someone else could back this up though.

if vagcom can be used on your car, you should be able to re program the immobiliser
