Loving the quality overall feel of it. Extrememly comfy Recaro interior too I knew i should have got a Golf instead of the Ibiza

Yeah you definatley get that feeling. Ultimatly the Ibiza does look more sporty. Still, nice to have access to both now

Its a 2000, shes happy yeah but ultimatly wanted a black 2 door TDI. But we found they are uber rare with anything under 100k on the clock. She's also made me promise not to bolt any go faster bits on while she aint looking.

lol true. Although she originaly wanted a TDI for the MPG so i'm guessing she'd not be happy about the MPG a remap would return.

My mate bought a golf almost identical to that at the same time i bought my ibiza. His feels better in quality and comfort for travelling to shows but he has had nothing but faults since he bought it. Then someone keyed every panel at the weekend.

If its engine code AUM it will be a ko3s as standard but mapped down. His was a 2000 and had one!

yeah he never knew either until he did a bit of research. We replaced it not long ago as it blew and discovered it was one!

just hope she doesnt want to remap it and fit lots of nibbly bits!!!........i really couldnt cope with my missus having a faster car than me!

car looks good

my mate got an exact same one of these a few weeks ago, same interior and stupid 'wood' dash effect!! i love the interior on it, have already said i got first dibs on it if he writes it off!!

when he got it, the previous owner had it remapped to bout 190bhp for motorway driving. doesnt feel particularly quick driving normally but does go down the motorway!
