new filter. sounds the same???

Afternoon chaps.

just fitted a piper cross panel filter. And I can not notice any difference in the sound of the car. I was hoping for I bit more induction noise when I am giving it a boot full. And don’t really want the expense just yet of a trip to Milltec

any suggestions? any one ells with the same filter??

well i changed it on my old car an Audi S3 (RIP). and it did make it sound nicer.

panel filter in the standard air box wont make much if any difference to induction roar. You need an induction kit cone filter to make a difference. NA cars with cone filters are much louder turbo cars not much difference.
