hi all, found the site on a search of google,
my names luke, and i have just got a 2001 seat leon cupra,
it has a few issues that i will be working through to get it running/performing properly,
are there any common problems with these i should be aware of?
the list of problems i have noticed so far(had the car 24hrs now)
speedo dont work(rev counter/temp fuel gauge do)
it's been de-cat'ed but they never fitted the 2nd lambda and is now bringing up management light,(have bought a cat/downpipe with lambdas off ebay to fit)
turbo/downpipe is leeking(sounds like a fart), have ordered new gasket to fit with the new cat
the fuel gauge is REALLY sensative, every corner or bump it goes down and where the fuel lvl is lower now it keeps beeping and telling me no fuel, i'm guessing the contacts on the fuel sender have warn and it's moving too easy?
any input on these faults would be great,
it has a few mods, eibach coilovers,
18" audi alloys(need a refurb)
was told(and can see it in paperwork) it has a milltek exhaust but looking under it, it looks to be mild steel, so doubtfull,
it has a 4 bar fpr,
was told it has a k04 and a stage 2 map, running 238bhp?
how can i tell if it's a k04 or k03? i'm new to the vag group so this will be a steep learning curve,
