What's handbrake like on yours? On my wife Arona have to pull up quite way about five clicks but on an auto I drove it was just two clicks. Hoping the Ibiza handbrake is only couple clicks to lock

Cool that's good. Sorry last question honest! What tyres come on yours? We have p7 pirellei on the arona not too great for grip. Hoping my Ibiza may get better.

One tip watch the wheel nut covers we lost two, the ones on the locking nut are loose. I took all ours off wrapped a bit of waterproof tape inside and put back on now they are snug and a fit tighter. Think lots have lost them

so these people with the 1.5L ibizas, have they struck the car investment jackpot or will it not make much difference?>

The reintroduced 1.5 TSI with WLTP certification is supposed to be inferior to the original engine. Lots of complaints on the Skoda forum of reduced performance and it might also have the crappy petrol particulate filter.

People with the original 1.5 TSI FR Ibiza, especially with the extras you can no longer get on the FR like ACC, keyless etc. might get better prices on selling...

Hello

Forum newbie here and soon to to SEAT newbie

Ordered Ibiza FR 115 in mystery blue

Ordered just before Christmas, anyone else order around that time had a confirmed build week yet?

Are the LED DRLs in the full LED headlights similar to the Leon? As in when the front indicator is on the top section of the DRLs is off and then comes back on when indicator is switched off?

Are the front fog lights LED too?

My dealer doesn't have an Ibiza with LED headlights for me to check

And has anyone get experience of the boot liner mats? Are they any good? My Ford ones are really good and the Suzuki ones not so much...

Cant wait to get it now my dealer thinks mid March which would suit me fine, don't want to end up being mid April

I’d ordered in October an FR Sport 115ps and due delivery about mid February now. Was meant to be built last week but the Status hasn’t changed to say it’s been built or shipped unfortunately!

I’d asked about the LED headlights at the dealership and they’re as I thought, the DRLs are switchback - this means when the indicator is on, the white “triangular” shape LED tubing turns yellow while the indicator is on and then switches back to “DRL” mode once flicked off.

As far as I know the fog lights aren’t LEDs

Great thanks, you will be getting impatient now, what colour did you go for?

The triangular bit of the light that makes up the DRL is also the indicator. Turn on the indicator and the DRL starts flashing between amber and off. Looks great. The Arona lights are the same, I found this video of the Arona which shows them.

Great, yes this is what I had hoped for!

I ordered an Xcellence Lux 115 PS Manual 6 days ago and my order has already progressed on to the build stage (week 5). I've been told to phone back next week to see if it's left the factory.

It seems my order will be arriving sooner than expected.

How on earth are they allocating things?

Although maybe yours is from the dealer's allocation? What colour did you go for?

Exactly the same as mine then! Not fair

I wonder if it was a cancelled order or something that your dealer was able to pick up.

If it was a cancelled order I'm not sure why they don't simply push those who have been waiting the longest, forwards.

My dealer wasn't exactly optimistic with lead times and even extended Seat's own lead times by a further 8 weeks. Moreover, they aren't really the proactive type.

I ordered my xcellence lux in desire red on the 19th from JCB in Ashford and just given a build date on week 8 so told it will be ready mid March. I have just asked for the rear fr diffuser with fake exhausts to be fitted for £240.63 by them. My daughter will be getting the same but in mystic blue at the same time. I was originally told delivery would be 9th May so it was a nice surprise. They seem to be a good dealer and offering good discounts.
