Ok just spoke to m0rk, presentation has just ended, went down very well it seems with the media. He's taken a number of pics of the car being unveiled by JP and Thommo, and several others.
He's heading over to the media centre now, so we should have pics in a short while. He's then going back over when its quieter to take lots of high res pics, without all the worlds media stood round it and in it.

So, SEAT fail to deliver yet again? I'm sorry but it's neither special enough looking (the BTCC bodykit/twin exhausts etc looked better) or interesting enough performance wise to cut it. If SEAT really wanted to be taken seriously in the performance market they REALLY needed to get a 4WD Cupra on the roads - it's the one thing my current car lacks that i'd want (I already have the power). Having sat in the new Leon (FR) I really hoped they do something about the nasty cheap feel interior too - looks like not tho eh?
I'll go take a test drive in it once they've got it in at Marshalls - and i'll do it with an open mind - but i think i'm going to be hard pressed to chop in the leon and fork out a few thousand (quite a few) for what looks to be very little net gain. Wetting myself about it I am not

Think im going to have to have a look at these in the flesh, before i make up my mind. Not too keen on them from some angles.

Exactly Syphon, bring it on, having driven a new FR, I can say with undoubted fact, it hands the old Leon its arse on a plate, straight out of the box, its a better equiped , better handling motorcar.

Why has the cupra pics in the media centre got painted callipers and not brembos?
Though it’s probably just a base model that they’ve put the bumpers, wheels, etc on for the photos, it is a bit slack if you ask me.

they only have the yella one on the media site.. would be *really* nice if they released it in other colours apart from yellow, red and black.. metallic blue would be gorgeous...
