I've got some genuine pictures of the new Leon if anyone wants to host.
I expect some of you also got the email too.

Oh, and the Ibiza Cupra gets a 1.8 TSI with 7 speed DSG.

No, the pictures I have are of an Orange FR.
I've just realised they are on the seat website:

Do we know if the prices are staying the same for the facelift models.

I'm at a loss as to what to do now

1) Wait for facelift models to come out, thus getting a nice price on a current shape one.
2) Wait for facelift and buy a facelift model

Same here.

I am after a DGS TDi 140bhp. What I want to know is will the new 140bhp be a Common Rail or just a tweaked PD Diesel? And the Common Rail only on the 170bhp?

If its just a tweaked PD then the cosmetic changes are not enough to wait for, and a good price on an "old" shape will be the way to go for me.

There are big discounts on current model as we (the dealers) have been given an extra few percent margin to help move the run-out stock, facelift models will revert to normal margins so it comes down to a straight choice of money or facelift and only you can say whats most important to you.

thanks for that. when are the facelifts due in?

Interesting, I'm currently thinking of a 1.4 TSI so there's probably no reason for me to get a facelift model. If I was getting a diesel I probably would wait for the new common rail engines.

When do you think would be the best time to buy. Ideally I'd not be looking for one untill July/August, as I start my new job then and will have a bit more cash to play with. Would it be hard to get a well-specced (bluetooth, winter pack and ipod) one round that time if the new ones are coming out?

Well I can read the unedited one & I think it sucks ****.

Gary - send me an email / evidence if you can... We're here to gain information & if people are deliberately working against it I will have no problem in correcting the situation.

Thanks

Mark

All I said was that you could have edited the post properly!
