Hi there, been a lurker for a while and had a cordoba for a while!

Hopefully picking up my mk1 cupra this week.

Few questions... any obvious things i should look for when i go for another look?
The alloys are not the best, whats the offset and stud pattern for these?
And also, 98k with full sh isnt a lot of miles is it?!

The alloys are the multispoke ones in 16", cant link as only have a few posts!

cam belt, fresh mot, tax etc....

Dont touch it if the mot isnt at least 11 months... and look out for things like water pump, and cam belt change

MOT is sept so only 6 months, had belts and pump done 3 years ago/ 15000 miles so will need done in a year.

Had new brakes all round last year, fsh, i can get it for 2500, reasonable price? Has full leather.

Yeah, bodywork seems ok etc...

So, any idea on the alloys?

Also it has a towbar which will be going, it has cut out the black part of bumper, can just the black part be replaced?

Check for damp in footwells as doors are prone to leaking

Unfortunately the bottom half of the bumper cant be replaced on its own - it is all one unit.

et 35 rings a bell but check first. avoid anything smoky although engines tend to be strong.

it wasnt supposed to have a tow bar, as said if its coming off you may need a new bumper

The looks dont really bother me... is just a runabout really, dont do too many miles.

ET35 is the general thought, will keep my eyes open for some wheels.

But one benefit of a pre-face lift is it's more stealthly!

Check condition of seats, especially drivers if leather.

Good price though, I think I will keep mine for a bit if that's all it's worth!
