Sniper you sure its just FL models? My current (replacing this month with FL) pre-fl also has canbus errors for the number plate as a bulb went once and it popped up and told me, took me a while to work out what it was trying to tell me tbh.

Might be FR's and above on the pre-fl that have canbus errors I dont know, but yeah if you could ask him that would be great!

He charged me 20 quid for parts and fitting ! I woulda fit um myself but its a new business i wanted to thro work his way like.....

See it's difficult for me to tell, cause when i fitted my HIDS i blew the BCM ! STUPID ****ING UNPASSABLE SEAT Bulb Control Module! Seat wanted 300 to replace it!! SO now the HIDS are wired straight from the battery..... to bypass the fused BCM!!

I still have a bulb warning light but im not bothered by it!! So it would be difficult to tell if the numberplate light is flagging up the warning light without replacing the BCM! WHICH IM NOT GUNNA DO!

Cheapest ! best Mod possible mate....i used the exact same to change out my interior lights!! instead of that dull yellow!!
