New member, old (ish) car

Evening everybody.

Thought I’d sign up and take a look at the Seat world. I’ve owned a dozen or so BMWs (sorry) and and handful of Mazdas, including a couple of RX-8s and an MX-5 but came across a 2005 Ibiza Cupra when I sold my last RX-8.

So I’ve taken this Cupra as p/x and plan to sell it straight on.... problem is is drives so well and is a good bit of fun

What do I need to know about these cars...?

Thanks, although my daily driver is an M5 so I don’t go in for fuel economy that much

What happened to your RX8 and why switch? They are epic to be honest.

What happened to your RX8 and why switch? They are epic to be honest.

Rusted away underneath, bought it with only a few thousand miles on a fresh engine rebuild so mechanically it was sound. Bodywork looked great on the outside but underneath was a different story.

Great handling car but missed the lazy pull of a turbo engine

Well I sold my Cupra...

And took an FR TDi 130 in exchange!

Now to tidy this one up and most likely sell on at some point.
