New member questions

Hi everyone,

Collected my V2 Hybrid yesterday so far so good although I’ve only covered around 18 miles, my dealer pre warned me about the infotainment issues which is always reassuring when you are collecting a brand new car but I have a few questions;

• I’ve registered on the Cupra connect app with my cars VIN and it shows a picture of the car however when I try to log in through the car itself it says unable to load your settings? Is there something I’m missing, I’ve tried taking both the keys into the car like it says but still unable to log in?

• Does anybody have a link to purchase some DSG pedal covers (like the ones in the VZ models) I’ve always managed to find replacements online but I cant seem to find any so far, I’m assuming that the pedals are the exact same on the Leon/ateca/formentor/golf/octavia etc?

Also not really a question but does the rear view camera seem really low quality or almost distorted at anything other than what’s immediately behind the rear bumper?

Picked up my vz2 last week, really impressed with the car but noticed far more road noise from front wheels than on my previous golf r 7.5 . Anybody else noticed road noise which is particularly bad on poor surfaces ?

It's the usual deal when comparing VW to SEAT/Škoda. They have to do their cost saving somwhere.

Yes I have noted increase road noise with the 19" wheels compared to my last car with 18" wheels fitted! or but might be the type of tyre fitted? I also get a bit of noise from the raised roof bars in certain conditions, but the car make up for this in other ways.
