sounds like am lucky i didnt go Swindon or Stockport and am glad about that now! Sorry you guys are all having trouble. So far though i can say Bury Seat are doing a good job with keeping me updated and customer service wise etc... will keep you all updated though

Yeh they had just a standard fr in white waiting there. I Really wanted the upgraded light bulbs and a few extra bits and bobs but if i ordered my car i wouldn't have got it in time for the no VAT offer, so like weighing things up it made more sense to get the car now financially and i can't moan about options and stuff that i never had on the car in the first place lol.

Hows your fr on petrol and stuff?

Ah nice, I was tempted for white, but went for black in the end. You'll have to get some pics up when you get it!
I got a fair few extras with mine, and couldn't live without them now, especially parking sensors lol!
Probably went for the best option as having to wait for it would've been a killer!!
What was your finance deal like?

On diesel, it's alright... Although I do like to put my foot down so it's my fault if I'm getting through more than I'd like to

im paying 233 a month for like 3 years and the option to buy the car, give back etc...at the end.

Just went online to get the free 7 day drive away insurance and it says have to be over 21 online:O so gutted! rang back the dealer and hes going to get back to me in the morning to see if he can sort drive away insurance with seat insurance (i think its doubtful), i cant even ring up directline or anyone since my car number plate hasnt been registered to the car though MJ60 OTT

Fair enough, convenience pack is all good. Worth the money i think.

Sounds similar to mine, although I'm paying a little more because of the extras I got.

Just ask your dealer for the number for Seat insurance to do the 7 day insurance, I'm only 19 so that's what I had to do! All you need is the dealer code, it only takes about 5 minutes to do

I had the same problem with my insurance, the registration wasn't recognised on insurance websites because the car wasn't registered, but in the end I called them and did it and there wasn't any problems!

Definitely going to, hopefully use some of my Christmas bonus for it, can't wait

Ohh right ok yeh my dealer gave me info about the aviva driveaway insurance but i went to do it all last night online and realised in the small print it said you have to be 21. So he said he will ring me some time today because he is going to try and speak to seat insurance and do it- so hopefully they will insure me for the 7 days if you managed to get insured

seat insurance drive away for 7 days is sorted

so just got to sign my finance papers and stuff on thursday, and can pick up on friday morning

this going to sound stupid- but is it worth me getting the car cleaned etc and doing the inside before giving it to them? no doubt they will wash and do the inside themselves again? Sorry for the lame question haha

Has: When trading my ibiza in for my current boc i panicked getting everything back to stock as i only had one day to do it. When i part ex'd it they didn't even look at it. In fact i parked quite far away out of view (not on purpose just happened to be the only space) So i know the guy i dealt with never even saw it. For all they know i could have had a skateboard with a numberplate stapled to it in the carpark lol

Years ago I traded a Rover 214 in for a Mondeo (Kids were younger then and I needed the bigger car).
Anyway, I had to wait a week to do the trade in and collect the mondy. During that week I found the CV joint was knocking and the boot split, the exhaust was already bandaged and starting to blow past it, by the end of the week it was blowing quite bad. On the day of exchange, I accelerated towards the garage to gain momentum, then switched the engine off and coasted into the garage (power steering was fun). Managed to pull straight into a parking spot, signed the papers, gave him the keys and drove away in the mondy, he never even looked at the car.

I got some mtec h7 bulbs for my dipped beam, not upgrading high dont use them. Also silvatec indicators and some mtec sidelights (didn't want to get leds) may upgrade number plate bulbs to led's but don't know which ones to buy yet lol
