1.2's are quite nippy actually

Stop telling lies Dan :roflmao:

They are not quick by any stretch of the imagination. I know because Seat give me one to use everytime mine is in the garage

Anyway wlecome newby, you could do a lot worse than take a look at the rims Dan is using. They look good and suit the car.

Dans gonna kill me for that one :hide:

hi guys, finally got my ibiza on tuesday,so far im quite impressed with the overall performance of my new car and build quality is almost as good as i thought it would be,the only nags are that the passenger door dosent seem to sit flush when it is closed, the door locks perfectly itss just there is a gap unlike the drivers door which is perfectly flush,a bit annoying and im sure its something my mates will point out to me ,can the door be adjusted in anway,if i push the door it will go in a bit if you know what i mean but then it pops back ,the only other thing is there seems to be a liitle condensation in one of the front lights, any views anybody, they would be appreciated, apart from these i am well chuffed with my car and it is a million miles away from the crappyness of fiats

the door can be adjusted by undoing the two multisplined/torx screws on the door striker and moving it inwards towards the car and tightening the bolts back up dont go too far or the door wont close nicely and will need a slam to shut it just have a fiddle till its how you like it :) welcome to seat get used to the fogged up headlamps try a search there is loads on this subject ive had mine replaced 1 time and they are both steaming up again!

yes is an easy job how can i go into more detail?? its that easy

step 1

open the door

step 2

when door is open look where the catch of the door strikes into to hold it closed its a gold braket type object held on with two torx bolts or two multisplined bolts

step 3

loosen off the two bolts till the brakets moves around

step 4

move braket towards the car

step 5

tighten back up

step 6

check it shuts nicely and the lines of the gaps around the shut door are even and flush!

step 7

open a beer
