A  from me, looks wicked!

looks cool mate, i have just had a speed blue k1 09 reg lowered it last week 30mm drop allround and 10-15mm wheel spacers it looks very well and seems to ride better aswell. as its my first seat (daily driver car) it is very good.

LOVE the orange K1Ringsell!

I probably would have gone for that had mine not been a company car that I ferry customers about in (more striking = harder to get signed off).

Sure beats having a Mondeo or Vectra....with all due respect. That's what I like about the Leons, they are understated in a lot of ways but *very* cool and desirable. The wolf in sheep's clothing scenario..if you want them to be. :)

Keith.

Bumper differences explained

The front bumper differences between K1's that you discuss (some have slats some have mesh) are due to them being added on after factory. K1's from factory have the black fins in the front bumper, Cupra's that have left the factory as Cupras and then had the K1 body kit and badges added after (possibly by dealer) will have kind of a mesh instead of the fins in the front bumper. So the speed Blue K1 in this article has had the k1 bodykit and badge fitted after leaving the factory as a Cupra.

I thought the front bumper without the slats at the side is the revised one. So yes K1s will have the slats but so will some leons with the aero front will have thye same bumper as the K1 until Seat changed the side vents to grills.

Love Speed Blue!! Enjoy it!

A Blue Austin Mini City 1000 which looked like a Cooper when I finnished the project. That was many moons ago LOL.

You mean you added go faster White bonnet stripes plus a couple of protruding spotlights, and you had yourself a Cooper lookalike? ;)

I still see one (the ORIGINAL Mini) that passes on a road I walk along in the mornings to work - centre twin exhaust - classic fun car! :)

It's interesting the number of Car Manufacturers who have done the Retro thing and brought out a new version of their older classics...

BMW Mini
VW Scirocco
Honda CRZ
etc...

Grills = linear edition. Also the rear btcc bumper will have black plastic around the grills if it's the linear edition as well. Dave gave me a quick lesson the other day lol

I think it's actually pre-fl
