Trial fitted my Oz Super T's today and took the car for alittle spin. The wheels are just rubbing at full lock.

The rubbing on the arch liners/plastic arent a problem as I can slightly modify them for it to stop. But its the rubbing on the chassis leg.

The wheels have 205/45 tyres on them. I dont know if the rubbing is because they are new tyres and the tread isnt worn at all.

Any suggestions/advice is more than welcome.

just a question, how come you choose 205 wides?

I went with 205 wide tyres for several reasons.

1) they are a 7j wheel
2) After alot of research on the here I found thats the size that should be on there
3) I was recommended to go with that size and
4) To try and keep the rolling radius as close to the steels as possible.

I really tried to get away with 195 wide tyres but I was told not to.

Dont worry about it mate. Im just trying to find out if I will get away with using the standard bolts from my steel wheels with the Oz's to save me buying new ones.

Used them today on the test fit and everything seemed secure and they were sitting right, but I want a definite answer before they are on permanently.

i'm sure the bolts should be fine mate, i'm sure the thickness of the steelies and your new ones are about the same (i mean the thickness of the hole walls)

and brummy WW is annoying, everytime i go on there i want to buy like all the alloys lol (but i might get some audi pepperpots for my sisters a3 for her b'day)

Steel wheels vs aftermarket wheels have different a seating, you really need to get tapered seating wheel bolts instead of the radiused one you've got on now
