First off you need to be sure :

1. You can afford the extra insurance
2. You don't mind losing part of the warranty on the car

If you are happy with both then nodding the SC will be easy :) what did you want first really? Having an FR model I'd say go for a Revo remap, updated brakes and updated suspension, this will give you the best base for other mods. If you feel the car is quick enough maybe look for a boot install.

Subs = weight / Weight = FAIL

Dont toss the car up with crappy mods :D Its very tempted at 18 to go a little crazy and end up with something thats lost a little of its class. I personally wouldn't change the alloys on the FR as they are very nice as is and keeps the OEM look. You want to enhance the looks more than anything. Coilovers spacers and a subtal exhaust which doesnt have a bean can exit and will actually make the car sound nice rather than loud and add extra performance.

Revo is a no brainer but be careful with 220BHP at 18...

However much I agree with Mardon (he knows his stuff, check out his Boc) it will be down to personal taste. I know a lot of people don't like car audio, body kits, after market wheels but if you fancy it then do it.

Subs will weigh the car down (I used to have a level 4 DC subwoofer in my car that slowed it down now end) but the sound more than made up for it. Plus a sound system shouldn't be too expensive to insure (most insurers pay a lot standard on your premium for car audio equipment).

Alloys are fine to change but you have to be very careful about what you do. OEM ones from other marks can look good i.e. The "TT Comps" of the Audi TT look amazing on a Fabia VRS. I also like light weight alloys as you not only change the looks you'll also squeeze out a little more performance.

What you may be better doing is upgrading the individual speakers and then adding an amp. You'll get much better sound without all the extra weight.

Also cheers for the kind comment CS16v ;)

Yea deff ditch the subs mate will slow you down more then you think. Some great advise here and most of us have all been there at 18, with crap mods that we now look back and think...... WHY!!!

This is why I may have come across a little harsh :D I'm trying to save you the headache. Luckily I never actually went along with the things I had planned for my first car. When even I see an overly modified hatchback I always think... Why!

The mods i've done on my cars have always been subtle and usualy power orientated.

Jason i'll have to wait and see on the alloys. Thinking they could look amazing with a red or while poished lip.
