naa i'm 19,don't have any no claims bonuses and had a accident when i was 17 that wasn't my fault :(

what insurance company are you with david_mckellar?

i just wanna find a quote of less than a grand,dont care if it's under my parents names or tpft.cant seem to find any decent insurers!

elephant quoted me £2260 or something along those lines...tried a quote with admiral but there was an "error" so i'll give them a ring tomorrow,hate insurance,sucha chore

Try direct line or direct choice. They were both really good for me. Or you could go with bell. They seem to be rather decent. My brother and his mates are with bell insurance but they've insured themselves on some old bangers and they get third party cover on any other car. Abit of a roundabout way but works out cheaper for them.

lol gd way of doing it,don't think i'd be able to do it that way because i'm only 19.i think most policy's like that only let your if your 21 or over.

will give all the companies a ring today and find out prices.thanks for all the suggestions all :)

That will only give you third party on another vehicle you don't own and is very often age/occupation restricted.

Its because of abuses like this that insurers are beginning to withdraw this cover altogether.
