Hi!

New face on here and been enjoying reading many threads.

Afer much reading on the forum and deliberation I have decided to ditch the my trusty diesel Skoda Octavia Estate and go for a Seat Leon.

Hoping I've made the right choice - here is spec of the new car:

Seat Leon ST FR 1.4eco tsi 150 with Tech Pack. options include:
- Apollo Blue
- Panoramic sunroof
- Convenience Pack Plus
- Camera Pack - added this after reading on here that Seat kindly dropped the front sensors:(
- Tow Bar Prep
- Space Saver spare wheel

Just have to wait a frustrating 7-10 weeks for it to built and shipped!!

Cheers,
Ian

Welcome. Nice choice :) it's going to be a long 7-10 weeks. Out of interest does the 1.4 tsi have dsg as an option?

Hi, pick up my St this Wednesday, got the same engine as you, tried the diesels but this 1.4 is what I preferred. And yeah kiddo I think it's a £1.3k hike for the dsg.
I got the convenience pack to but also full link....but only cause they found an unregistered one in the 'import centre' so only been like a 2 week wait.

Thanks and cheers Kiddo! Yeah you're right about the wait!

Portlanders - like you tried the 150 diesel but fancied a change to the petrol - found it quieter as well. Mind anything is quieter than my tractor skoda - even my wife knows when I'm home when I turn up our street!

Lol I have a focus diesel and the missus complains about noise on that, so like you trying the petrol for a quieter life. Have only tried it in normal mode so far though ;)
We weren't specifically looking at the St but the adjustable boot floor sold it for us compared to the hatch.

Adjustable floor is great - I have it in the Skoda. Day to day it's set at the higher level, then dropped down when you need the extra depth for camping hols etc!

the 1.4 is the sweetest engine i've had in a car, ive done nearly 10,000 miles in my car since just before Christmas.... Lovin' it... :D

Finally got my hands on my Leon ST last Tuesday (26th July), ordered Saturday 21st May. So approx. 9 and a bit weeks which isn't bad at all.

What a cracker of a car and have already clocked just over 900 miles so getting nicely run in!

Anyway, here are a couple of piccies day after collection.

Hope the link works!

and came with Dunlop SP Maxx tyres....really nice car, isn't it?

Loving the car Andrew, so pleased I went for the petrol - a nice change from the diesel Octy!

I've had Goodyear Efficiency Grip on the Octy so new territory for me with the Dunlops!!
