Newly sprayed panel

Just picked my car up from the bodyshop, Urmston Body Repair, done a top job. He said though when I got back to wax it up. Didn't think this was recommended on new paint? I'm not going to be using the car anyway for 2 weeks and going to try and leave it in the garage if I can fit it in. What would people recommend?

just give them a bell as to why to wax it?
(i thought the theory was to let it cure/harden but i ain't no paint expert)

if you are not going to use it for two weeks, just park it up, and leabe it to stand... it will be fine. If you have a pure wax and wish to apply a light layer, it will be ok.

I thought it was better left to harden for a while but when i picked my misses car up last week after having a panel sprayed they told me that it was ok to wax / seal it straight away.

pure waxes and sealants do not contain any chemical cleaners or abrasives so are new paint safe.

New paint requires time to harden, a wax will not prevent this...
