Hi all,
Pulled up at Macdonalds yesterday and my brakes wouldnt work! i pushed them down and went straight into the curb ripping off my splitter. they work very gently when the pedal is pushed right to the floor and the rears are working more than the front.

Iv had a look and im not loosing any brake flui so there are no split pipes anywhere or any leakes. it was just all of a sudden! i braked fine in the drive-thru then when i drove round and went to pull up in a parking spake i thought i had pressed the accellorator as the car justr kept going straight into the kirb!

There is no resistance against your foot on the brake pedal either. would you say its the Master Cylinder?

please help guys! one problem fixed and another one comes along!

Does sound like brake servo vacuum hose issue!

Any extra, constant, whistling sound from under the bonnet? Check the hard plastic pipe front left as you look at the engine stood at front of car.

I'd think that your problem could be a hard/brittle/cracked "rubber" servo pipe - like what the re-call covered - or seized calliper parts, but the OP with the "pedal goes to the floor" problem is something diferent than that.
